OECD chooses former ‘grey list’ state for its 2011 meeting on tax information exchange
Bermuda’s transformation from ‘grey list’ tax haven to internationally
approved tax co-operative state has been confirmed after being chosen as the
host nation for a major event on tax transparency.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) 2011
global forum on transparency and tax information exchange will take place in
Bermuda following a vote by members of the steering and peer review groups,
reports

Having previously been on a grey list of territories over tax information
sharing, Bermuda was moved onto the OECD’s white list in June last year after it
signed 18 tax information exchange agreements with various nations.
