Claydon leaves HSBC for Orteq CFO role
Former Leeds United youth team player joins sports injury specialists Orteq as CFO
SPORTS INJURY medical devices business Orteq has appointed Shaun Claydon as CFO and a board director.
Claydon joins from HSBC Investment Banking, having previously served at BDO Stoy Hayward and PwC.
He began his career as a youth team player at Leeds United, but his career was cut short by injury.
Dianne Blanco, chief executive officer of Orteq, said: “Shaun brings first rate business skills and acumen to this period of high growth at Orteq. His experience is invaluable as we continue to commercialise worldwide our first product Actifit, a biocompatible scaffold for the repair of otherwise irreparable meniscal tears.”
