Nigel Stein to serve as GKN chief executive
THE FORMER group FD of GKN is set to become its chief executive.
Nigel Stein, currently chief executive automotive within the engineering business, will take the top role at the end of 2011.
Stein served in management and finance roles before taking GKN’s group FD position in 2001.
Sir Kevin Smith, whom Stein succeeds, said the company was well positioned for sustainable growth.
GKN’s share price climbed 0.90p during this mornin’s trading, to 190.20p.
