Liverpool-based retailer files intention to appoint administrators
ADMINISTRATORS from Ernst & Young are reportedly at the ready to take on struggling retailer TJ Hughes.
The business filed an intention to appoint administrators yesterday, The Telegraph reports.
TJ Hughes is a Liverpool-based chain that runs 57 stores and employs about 4,000 people.
It will be the latest in a succession of retail administrations this year, with music publisher EMI, fashion retailers Jane Norman and Brand Acquisitions, furniture business Habitat and Focus DIY all entering administration processes this year.
