Ex-Iris director takes KashFlow role

A FORMER DIRECTOR of software provider Iris, has taken a similar role at rival Kashflow.

Iris software is used by more than half of accountancy practices and book-keepers in the country, with KashFlow labeled as one of the fastest growing internet-based accounting technology businesses.

Simon Guest was previously operations director for accountancy technology business Iris, and has moved to online IT provider Kashflow as its chief operating officer.

Guest worked with Iris for more than 16 years in various senior roles in both sales and operations.

“I am delighted to be joining an outfit that is young and growing but also mature enough to be profitable and steady. There’s definitely something inspiring about working in a founder-managed business,” he said.

KashFlow founder Duane Jackson (pictured) said: “I’ve needed a COO for some time now but we’ve not rushed into it as I wanted to make sure we hired the right person.

“Simon seems tailor-made for the role and his previous experience should be tremendously useful for us as we continue to grow”
