ZOLFO COOPER has promoted Diane Hughes and Paul Thompson to partner.
Hughes is head of forensic and litigation support services. She was formerly a partner at Arthur Andersen, which she joined in 1984. Since then, Hughes served as director for several companies before founding her own recruitment business in 2000. Five years later, she sold the business to Reed.
Prior to joining Zolfo, Thompson was group chief financial officer of Kroll Consulting based in New York. He will serve as a corporate advisory services partner.
Simon Freakley, (pictured) CEO Zolfo Cooper, said: “I am delighted to announce these promotions which are a reflection of both the calibre of the individuals concerned and the growth we are experiencing as a firm.
“These new appointments mean our partner group is now made up of some 22 dedicated restructuring and advisory professionals and further enhances our senior team’s ability to provide our clients with a broad range of services, skills and experiences to assist them in today’s challenging business environment.”
