    Hummingbird Resources appoints Thomas Hill to the board as finance director with immediate effect

    MINERAL EXPLORATION company Hummingbird Resources has appointed Thomas Hill to the board as finance director with immediate effect.

    Hill joined the company as chief financial officer in September 2010 and is also a director of the Pygmy Hippo Foundation.

    Earlier this month, the west Africa-focused gold explorer announced a new gold discovery at its Sackor site in southern Liberia, close to the already established Dugbe deposit.

    Chief executive Dan Betts said: “During Q2 Hummingbird Resources has collected in excess of 13,000 samples for analysis across various targets and projects within our portfolio, which is a staggering achievement.”
