BTG Financial Consulting formed to encapsulate the firm's services outside of formal insolvency
BEGBIES TRAYNOR has rebranded its advisory services offering under one name.
Known as BTG Financial Consulting, the services offered under the umbrella name include its financial consulting, restructuring and turnaround, forensic & risk consulting and technology consulting divisions.
Begbies Traynor is best known for its formal insolvency services offerings, but its consulting division is also substantial – comprising its domestic teams as well as 100 specialist firms operating in its international network.
The rebrand will hope to encourage new clients looking to restructure and refinance earlier on in the business cycle, rather than approach them when in more severe trouble. Its corporate and organisational structure will remain the same following the rebrand.
Mark Fry (pictured), partner at BTG Financial Consulting, said: “The evolution of BTG Financial Consulting marks a key milestone in the development of our advisory offering.
“By bringing together our wide-ranging expertise and deep sectoral knowledge under one team, we are well positioned to serve the needs of our corporate, bank and private equity client base in a market which increasingly requires a multi-disciplinary approach to complex situations.”
Begbies’ share price was static in this morning’s trading, at 34.13p – valuing the company at £30.71m by market cap.
