Former Invensys CFO joins BBA Aviation board
Wayne Edmunds, CEO and former CFO of Invensys, joins BBA Aviation as non exec
THE CEO and former CFO of Invensys has joined BBA Aviation as a non-executive director, the company said today.
Wayne Edmunds, who joined Invensys as CFO of its process systems division in 2008, will join the BBA board with effect from 7 August 2013 and will sit on the audit, remuneration and nomination committees.
Edmunds was appointed chief financial officer of Invensys in June 2009 and became chief executive in March 2011. He joined Invensys from Reuters America, having previously held senior financial roles in the technology sector, including 17 years at Lucent Technologies.
Michael Harper, chairman of BBA said: “His extensive commercial experience, particularly in the US markets, together with his global perspective will enable him to bring valuable skills and insights to the Board of BBA Aviation.”
BBA’s shares rose 0.9p to 299.2p in morning trading.
