FS tax specialist to use his recent hedge fund experience in new PwC role
FINANCIAL SERVICES tax expert Lachlan Roos is to head up PwC’s hedge fund practice.
Roos, who has served at PwC since 2005, will use his recent experience in dealing with fund managers to take on the role. He has been heavily involved in global deal activity across all hedge fund strategies.
Roos will take over from Rob Mellor, who is stepping down after five years as head.
Mark Pugh, UK asset management leader at PwC, said Roos will bring “momentum and growth” to the practice.
He said that the “complete transparency” required by regulators and tax authorities in the hedge fund sphere means that clients will require a range of services, “and PwC’s hedge fund team is exceptionally well placed to help our clients prepare for the future”.
