A PARTNER promotion has been made at West London firm Goodman Jones.
Matt Cook (pictured), who joined the firm from university in 2000, has specialised in providing accounting services to property and construction clients. He has helped them with their management accounting and reporting for internal management control, and for banks and lenders.
“Since joining Goodman Jones from university, he has demonstrated what an asset he is to the firm,” said Goodman Jones managing partner Larry Phillips.
“Over and above his technical expertise, Matt really looks after clients and has won considerable praise for his approach,” Phillips added. “He doesn’t just look to give them the answers but actively seeks to help them work smarter and become more self-sufficient. It is an approach that we value highly at Goodman Jones and I am delighted that he is now a partner of the firm.”
Goodman Jones, a 13-partner outfit with 80 staff in total, was ranked 67 in the 2013 Accountancy Age Top 50+50 Survey, with £8.7m in fees.
