LONDON-BASED accountancy firm Jeffreys Henry has promoted Sachin Ramaiya to partner.
Ramaiya joined Jeffreys Henry as audit supervisor in 2007 having previously worked at PwC.
As well as managing audits of large UK and International clients, Ramaiya will setup a new India desk providing outsourced accounting services and cross-border tax advice to Indian companies expanding into the UK.
Commenting on the promotion, managing partner Justin Randall, said: “Our people are at the heart of our success and Sachin’s promotion reflects our commitment to nurturing and rewarding the talent we hold within the firm.
“He is a great asset to the firm and his promotion to Partner will enable us to continue to deliver to our clients the premier, comprehensive and expert service.”
This latest announcement marks the fourth partner appointment in recent years, boosting total partner count to 11.
Jeffreys Henry is ranked 76 in Accountancy Age’s Top 50+50 survey of firms with a UK fee income of £6.2m for the year ending April 2015.
