Shelley Stock Hutter (SSH) has promoted Rick Behan to partner.
The new appointment at the mid-tier firm reflects its continued growth and brings the total number of partners to seven.
Bobby Lane, partner at SSH, said: “Rick joins two other partners who are also in their 30s. In a profession where the role of the accountant is irrevocably changing, Rick has all the necessary attributes. In an environment where the clients are looking for their accountants to plug their skills gaps, Rick is a perfect fit.”
Behan joined SSH in 2013 as a manager, having previously worked for Manchester accountancy firm Hurst, where his clients were predominantly owner-managed SMEs in the North-West region. He has worked with many of SSH’s start-ups and SME clients, both in the UK and internationally.
Behan now has a fast growing client base operating across a broad range of industries but specializes in the development property and financial services sectors.
The firm is ranked 70 in the Top 50+50 supported by Sage.
