AN ACCOUNTANT who has served at her firm since it was founded has been made partner. Vikki Wall has been promoted to become the sixth partner of Haberman Ilett.
Frank Ilett, managing partner, said: “I am delighted that Vikki has achieved this thoroughly deserved appointment. It reflects the quality of our people and the quality and volume of work we are doing as a firm.”
The firm was set up three years ago by Philip Haberman (ex-EY) and Frank Ilett (ex-Deloitte). In that time Haberman Ilett has grown from two to six partners and now has 40 staff. Wall frequently helps the legal teams, and has worked on over 50 cases in her 20 years as a forensic accountant, advising clients in quantifying loss of profits and other consequential losses in a wide range of industries and cases, from claims from less than £1m to those in excess of £1bn.
Philip Haberman, senior partner, added: “I have worked with Vikki for almost 15 years, during which time she has gained lots of experience in a mixture of cases. Vikki has proven herself across a broad range of work, so it is a pleasure to be able to recognise her success by making her partner.”
Vikki Wall is a fellow of the ICAEW and a committee member of their Forensic and Expert Witness Special Interest Group. She has been treasurer, committee member and independent auditor of charity statutory accounts.
