New partner appointments signal Beyond the Blueprint’s push into post-merger integration, AI-led strategy and C-suite coaching
A group of former executives from Sky, Barclays, KFC and Deloitte have joined forces with the advisory firm Beyond the Blueprint to expand its reach among UK businesses facing strategic disruption and organisational change.
The firm, which launched in 2023, has attracted high-profile backers from across the consumer, technology, and financial sectors.

Its latest hires include Cheryl Calverley, former CEO of Eve Sleep; Will Worsdell, an ex-global brand strategist and agency founder; Charli Kumar, a former managing director at Sky; and Jen Wright, an entrepreneur and transformation lead with experience at KFC and Specsavers.
All four are now partners at Beyond the Blueprint, which positions itself as an alternative to traditional consultancy models by combining executive coaching with board-level strategy.
The company works primarily with scale-ups and FTSE-listed firms navigating post-merger integration, market pivots and the early stages of digital reinvention.
They join co-founders Patrick Ugeux, a former M&A lead at Deloitte and Liberty Global, and Gareth Hussey, who previously led the consumer business at O2 during the pandemic.
In a statement, Ugeux said: “We’ve been struck by how deeply our approach resonates with leaders and investors. By expanding the business, we can support more boards and leadership teams through systemic change — not just by shaping strategy, but by tackling the human dynamics that enable it.”
While the firm operates on a partner-only model, it has built a multi-million-pound book of business in just over a year. Clients include Just Group, Octopus Investments, and marketing network Next 15.
The move comes as businesses seek new approaches to transformation in the face of macroeconomic volatility and AI-led disruption. McKinsey research suggests 70% of large-scale change efforts fail, often due to execution gaps and internal misalignment.
That backdrop has opened the door for challenger firms that blend boardroom strategy with executive development.
“Having led and coached growth and technology transformation in large organisations, I know it’s the combination of experience, creativity and a focus on leadership that makes change stick,” said Jen Wright.
The firm’s recent hires bring experience from over a dozen multinationals, including ITV, Tesco, Unilever, JP Morgan, and the AA.
The firm is now expanding its client base and geographic footprint across EMEA and North America.
