Cooper Parry saves jobs with corporate finance deal
Cooper Parry has advised on multi-million pound management buy-out of a
packing and import business, saving the jobs of a hundred employees.
The firm’s corporate finance experts advised on the deal for Simms and Wood,
a business set up in 1958 based in Worcestershire.
The deal was led by farming operations director James Massingham, and Cooper
Parry’s John Bryant and Rob Burden advised on the transaction.
‘It is always satisfying to know that jobs are saved, especially in the
current climate,’ said Bryant.
Worcester-based law firm Harrison Clarke provided legal advice to the
management team, led by Inger Woolhouse.
