Top 60 firm Beever & Struthers is to merge with North West advisers
Waterworths to create increased presence for Beevers
The combined firms will be rebranded Beever & Struthers with the
Blackburn office of Waterworths including “incorporating Waterworths”.
The business will have a total of 26 partners and about 150 staff with Phil
Roberts and Chris Porritt remaining as managing partner and senior partner
respectively.
Alan Rowntree and Graham Wilson will from Waterworths will continue as senior
partner and managing partner at the Blackburn office.
Phil Roberts said: “The deal creates an exciting and independent force in
accountancy and business advice and a credible alternative to the “Big Four” and
other national firms.
“The merger is an excellent strategic fit for both firms and represents great
news for our clients, staff and indeed the North West.
Beever has offices in Manchester and London with Waterworths holding premises
in Richard Terrace and Blackburn.
