MacIntyre Hudson acquires not-for-profit sector specialist Gotham Erskine
MACINTYRE HUDSON has merged with London practice Gotham Erskine to increase its presence in the not-for-profit sector.
Gotham Erskine specialises in the voluntary and charity industry with clients such as Greenpeace UK, the Social Enterprise Coalition and Liberty. MacIntyre Hudson’s chairman Rakesh Shaunak commeneted that he believes interest in the not-for-profit sector has grown dramatically over the last two years, hence his being keen to work with specialists in the field.
“Once we had established that a merger with a not-for-profit heavyweight was the most efficient way to further build our presence, we were delighted that Gotham Erskine’s strategic aims were complementary with our own,” he remarked.
As part of the merger, CIPFA‘s resource director Chris Harris will join the firm with a focus on building the public and charity division.
“It’s the perfect time to be joining the combined strength of MacIntyre Hudson and Gotham Erskine as we look to make a difference during a period when both the profile and importance of charities has never been higher,” he said.
Gotham Erskine will trade under the MacIntryre Hudson brand from its London offices, relocating to the firm’s main offices in Blackfriars soon.
