INDEPENDENT LEICESTER firm Hayles and Partners has merged its business with the Nottingham and Birmingham offices of McGregors Corporate, another Midlands-based firm of accountants.
The combined firm is to be re-named MGC Hayles and will employ 50 staff across the three offices in the Midlands.
Founding partner at Hayles Geoff Banks commented, “Combining our business with the McGregors team will enable the firm to continue to develop its services and support businesses in Leicestershire and the Midlands for many years to come.”
MGC Hayles is also to become a member of the UK200 Group, which links independent accounting and legal firms across the UK.
The development of the Leicester office will be led by fomer finance director Steven Mugglestone, who is returning to work in the city, having been part of the McGregors team.
