Chris Hodge replaces Mridul Hegde as new FRC executive director of strategy
THE FRC has appointed Chris Hodge, currently director of corporate governance, as its new executive director of strategy.
Hodge replaces Mridul Hegde, who unexpectedly resigned from the reporting watchdog last month after less than a year in the role.
He will take up the role from 1 January next year and will report to chief executive Stephen Haddrill.
Hodge joined the FRC in 2004, having previously worked as a civil servant.
“Chris combines a deep understanding of the corporate governance agenda and the environment in which the FRC works, including in Westminster and Brussels. This will be invaluable to continuing the momentum that has built up behind the FRC’s strategy and our core aim to promote high quality corporate governance and reporting to foster investment,” Haddrill said.
