Baker Tilly adds two to London tax team

BAKER TILLY has confirmed the appointment of two tax partners at its London office.

Caroline Rai is to take the head of public sector tax post, having spent 14 years at KPMG as a director. She has advised a broad range of clients ranging from multinationals to FTSE 250 companies.

Adrian Benosiglio holds more than 20 years’ experience specialising in the real estate and construction sectors. He has particular experience in assisting investors and developers on international tax issues, and his wide range of clients include high-value residential developers and funds, as well as family and entrepreneurial businesses.

Jim Meakin, Baker Tilly’s head of tax said: “Caroline and Adrian’s knowledge of dealing with a wide range of tax matters will be a great asset to our already successful tax team in London. Their experience will be of huge benefit to existing and potential clients, and will help us to further strengthen Baker Tilly’s tax offering.”

Elsewhere, the top ten firm welcomed 12 new starters at its offices in Leeds and Hull. The group of trainees, which consists of ten graduates and two school leavers will be working in the audit department as audit assistants. They will start their Baker Tilly careers on an intensive training course which lasts six weeks and will continue to study for their AAT or ACA certificates throughout the next five years after which they will be fully qualified.
