Blick Rothenberg has appointed Heather Self as corporate tax partner based in its London offices.
Self brings over 30 years experience, most recently as partner at law firm Pinsent Masons. Self’s previous roles include the head of tax at a FTSE 100 company, an anti-avoidance adviser at HMRC and a partner at EY.
Self is a fellow of both ICAEW and CIOT, and previously chaired CIOT’s technical committee. She has also been a member of the CBI Tax Committee for several years.
She has long been a leading voice discussing tax policy in the media, and is a member of International Tax Review’s Global Tax 50 2017 for her work in setting up the ‘Women in Tax’ network.
Genevieve Moore, head of corporate tax at Blick Rothenberg, said: “Heather is a great addition to the firm and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience from a wide range of perspectives. I am delighted to welcome her to the team.”
